This timesheet form allows you to track your weekly work hours, calculate totals, and print a professional timesheet for submission. The form is designed to be easy to use both on-screen and when printed.

How to Use the Timesheet

1. Filling Out Employee Information

  • Enter your full name in the "Employee Name" field
  • Provide your employee ID number
  • Specify your department and position

2. Setting the Time Period

  • Indicate the pay period (e.g., "Week 1, January 2023")
  • Select the week ending date using the date picker

3. Recording Hours Worked

For each day of the week:

  • Select the date using the date picker
  • Enter your start time using the time selector
  • Enter your end time using the time selector
  • Specify break time in minutes (default is 30 minutes)
  • The total hours will automatically calculate (this feature requires JavaScript implementation)

4. Adding Additional Information

  • Enter relevant project codes if applicable
  • Specify cost center information if required
  • Add any comments or notes in the provided text area

5. Signature and Approval

  • Print the form and sign in the "Employee Signature" area
  • Have your supervisor sign in the "Supervisor Approval" area
  • Both parties should date their signatures

6. Printing the Timesheet

  • Click the "Print Timesheet" button to generate a printer-friendly version
  • Alternatively, use your browser's print function (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P)
  • The print version will remove unnecessary elements like the print button
